With the purchase of Kärntner Skipass multi-day or season tickets, the customer agrees to the automated processing of his personal data (first name, surname, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail address and photo). Without this consent, no contract can be entered into and fulfilled with the customer.

Photo capture/access control when using ski passes

The customer agrees to personal, photographic recording, storage and processing at the card issuing and access points for control purposes and to prevent misuse of the card. With the purchase of a name-related ski pass, the cardholder agrees to the automatic registration, recording and processing of his/her personal data for control purposes and to prevent misuse of the card as well as for the purpose of customer service.

Information pursuant to § 24 DSG 2000 on „Photocompare“
Please note that for the purpose of access control, a reference photo of the lift pass holder is taken the first time he/she passes through a turnstile equipped with a camera. This reference photo is compared by the lift staff with the photos that are taken each time a turnstile equipped with a camera is passed through. The reference photo is deleted immediately after the lift ticket expires, the other photos are deleted no later than 30 minutes after the respective turnstile has been passed through. It should be noted that it is also possible to purchase lift tickets that are technically configured in such a way that no photo is taken when passing through the turnstile; however, random checks by lift staff must be expected in this case. There is a constant exchange of data between the lift companies regarding the processing of valid Carinthian ski pass multi-day or season tickets in the access and cash register system of Skidata Austria GmbH and Axess AG for the purpose of joint access control. Corresponding data processing agreements have been concluded with these two companies, which are obliged to comply with the applicable legal provisions.
